First Choice Staffing and the Mid-York Library System are bringing practical job-search support to local libraries this fall through the “Let’s Get You Job-Ready” initiative. Sessions in October and November will help community members strengthen their résumés and build a professional presence on LinkedIn. First Choice Staffing will also attend three local career and hiring events in October to connect with job seekers and discuss current openings.
The workshops are designed for job seekers, people considering a career change and anyone looking to sharpen their professional skills. Attendees can receive guidance on presenting their experience, avoiding common résumé mistakes and improving how they appear to potential employers online.
